POD XT Programs
POD XT STEEL GUITAR PROGRAMS
The following are the Pedal Steel Guitar Programs ("Tones") I am currently using. These are by no means the ultimate programs, just what I came up with and work for me. The "no amp" programs are effects only and were designed to be used with a Nashville 1000 or 112 amp, as any other effects would be used. There are also 3 programs with preamps, speaker emulation, and reverb/delay to be used with a power amp, or direct such as with a sound board.
UPDATE: 8/8/2010 I finally have an effects only distortion program ("Tone") that can be used with Pedal Steel Guitar. Several Steeler's have asked me for one and with some help from the Line 6 Forum I now have one that works satisfactory. It uses the "Classic Distortion" modeler in the POD XT.
Click on a program and you can download it. Save it to your hard drive and then load it into your POD XT using the Line 6 Gearbox Program.
EFFECTS ONLY PROGRAMS
1. Pedal Steel, Digital Delay and Spring Reverb (This is the primary program that I use)
2. Pedal Steel, Reverb only (I use this with my Goodrich Matchbro dobro simulator to provide a small amount of reverb)
3. Pedal Steel, Chorus and Reverb
4. Pedal Steel, Leslie (Rotary Horn)
6 Pedal Steel Distortion ** Added 8/8/2010
PREAMP PROGRAMS (all programs use the 15" speaker model)
1. Tube Preamp
2. Preamp 1 (Jazz Amp - clean)
3. Preamp 2 (Line 6 - clean)
