My first album, "Gulf Coast Steel Guitar" is still available

Gulf Coast Steel Guitar was my first instrumental album.  It was originally made to sell at the winter shows I do at Catfish Johnny's in Lake Panasoffkee, Fl.

The songs are primarily traditional country steel.  There are a couple of western swing songs  but mostly just good  basic country steel.  The  "Chet & Merle Medley is my salute to my guitar heroes Chet Atkins and Merle Travis, and their finger picking styles and Bobbe Seymour.  I did all the instruments on the album (steel, bass, rhythm guitar).  The drum track is an Alesis SR-16 drum machine.  The accompaniment track for Sleepwalk was done with Band in a Box software.  Steel Guitar Rag was put on there for my friend Blake Hawkins and I Love You Because (swing style) for my bass picking and singer buddy, from Indianapolis, Bernie Waldon who always asks me to do it when we're out on jobs. A Way To Survive was put on there just in case there was a steel player somewhere in the world that has never heard the song......
